Primeiramente, eu gostaria de das as boas vindas na turnê a Jordan Pruitt!! Eu conversei com ela e ela é uma garota muito legal. E muito talentosa também. Mesmo assim estou com saudades das KSM. :(. Mas estou animado por ter a Jordan conosco. E também quero dizer bem vinda Jordan!!
Bem então os shows que nós fizemos desde a minha última atualização foram em Kansas City, Chicago, e Cincinnati. Todos eles foram ótimos! Hoje nós estamos em Clevelend. O mais legal sobre essa semana, é que tivemos a presença da família da Kendra! Tivemos dois dias de folga, enquanto eles estavam aqui, então nós decidimos tirar um tempo e ir visitar algumas igrejas históricas, que ficam nas áreas de Independence, Liberty, e Far West, Missouri. Elas eram todas na região de Kansas City. Foi muito interessante aprender sobre a história e os desafios que o povo enfrentou naquele tempo, e a coragem que tiveram para superá-los. No outro dia de folga nos íamos para Chicago, mas decidimos mudar o rumo para uma cidadezinha histórica chamada Nauvoo. Eu adorei!! Todas as pessoas lá foram muito legais, e elas tinham uma apresentação (que acredito que é uma outra maneira de dizer teatro, eu acho, lol.), que era muito interessante.
Se de repente você estiver por esta área, por alguma razão, lol. Eu realmente recomendo que você confira. Mas foi muito legal passar um tempo com os familiares da Kendra, e visitar os sítios.
Depois de Nauvoo, a família da Kendra foi embora, mas nós tivemos outro dia de folga ontem, e nós fomos a outra cidade histórica, chamada Kirtland, aqui em Ohio. Tive outro dia ótimo! haha. Eu fiquei sabendo sobre estes lugares, porque eles tem muita história da minha igreja e minhas crenças e eu honestamente não estava tão interessado, em visitá-los antes. Eu sempre pensava, ok. Eu sei que muita coisa aconteceu lá, mas é muito antigo. Mas esse ano eu decidi ir, aproveitei que estavam próximas aos lugares onde estávamos de folga. Não é irônico? Lol. Mas, nossa...que adorei, ganhei uma novas perspectiva, do que as pessoas tiveram que enfrentar, para que eu pudesse ter o que tenho na minha vida hoje. É muito bom aprender sobre a nossa história, e o que ajudou-nos a estarmos onde estamos e a ser o que somos. Eu tenho que agradecer a eles por tudo. Você pode ler sempre, e dizer ok, eu sei sobre isso. Mas há uma grande diferença em na verdade estar lá onde tudo aconteceu, e sentir a atmosfera. E você aprende de uma maneira, que nunca aprenderia se estivesse lendo. Eu sei eu geralmente não falo sobre isso, mas é o que fiz essa semana, e não posso deixar de expressar a minha gratidão e respeito pelo que eles fizeram. Você realmente tem que ir aos lugares para entender e ver como eles são. Mas de qualquer forma, essa foi uma ótima semana!!
Ok amanhã é meu show solo em Pittsburgh, eu não tenho feito um desde Del Mar, mas sim é porque eu estou em turnê com a Demi, é por esta razão. haha. Mas será legal. A coisa que mais me assusta, é que nós não tivemos um tempo maior para ensaiar. Mesmo assim fizemos um set inteiro em Del Mar, com os novos membros da banda. Mas eu estou animado, Pittsburgh é uma cidade ótima. Eu lembro quando eu e o Jason Castro saímos para passear no nosso dia de folga lá. Eu fiz um videoblog sobre isso, haha. Esperem deixe eu ver se encontro.
Eu não vejo isso desde o dia que postei, e eu não planejo assistir isso agora, lol. Mas nossa isso foi há um ano atrás. Loucura, o que pode acontecer em um ano. Mas de qualquer forma está aí se você quiser ver, o que fiz no meu último dia de folga em Pittsburgh. Foi divertido! Mas me informem se vocês virão ao show, ou a outro show solo. Mas hey, eu acho que tenho que ir para checagem de som agora. Então eu falo com vocês depois.

Hello all! I just wanted to let you know how my week has gone and about the things I've gotten to do.
First off, I'd like to welcome Jordan Pruitt to the tour! I talked to her and she's a really nice girl. She's really talented too. So even though I miss KSM :(. I'm looking forward to having Jordan with us now! So I hope you guys enjoy her set. And also, I just wanted to say welcome to Jordan!
All right, so the shows that we've had since my last update have been in Kansas City, Chicago, and Cincinnati. They've all been awesome! Today we're in Cleveland. Something exciting about this week is we had Kendra's family around! We had 2 days off while they were here, so we decided to take the time and visit some historical church sites that were in the areas of Independence, Liberty, and Far West Missouri. They were all in the Kansas City area. It's really interesting learning about the history and challenges people had to face back then, and admirable to see the courage they had when they faced them. On our other day off, we were going to Chicago but took a detour to a little historical town called Nauvoo. I loved it! All the people there were just really nice, and they had a pageant (which is another way of saying a play I guess haha) which was really neat. If you ever happen to be in the area for some reason lol, I really recommend you check it out. But it was fun spending time with Kendra's family and going to see the sites!
After Nauvoo, Kendra's family left, but we actually had another day off yesterday and went to another little historical town called Kirtland here in Ohio. Had another great day there! haha. I've heard a lot about these places since they have a lot of history with my church and beliefs, and I honestly was never that interested in going to visit them before. I just thought ok... I know a lot of stuff happened there but it's old. But this year we decided to go since they just so happened to all be near cities we had days off in. Isn't that ironic? lol. But wow.... I had such an awesome time. I just gained a totally new perspective of what people really had to go through in their lives so I could have what I have in my life today. It's good to learn about our history, and see what has helped get us where we are and make us who we are today. I just have to say thanks to them for everything. You can always read stuff and say yeah ok sure I know about it already. But there's a big difference in actually being there where it happened and feel the atmosphere of it all. You also learn in a way you could never learn by just reading. I know I don't usually mention that kind of stuff... but it's what I did this week, and I can't help but show how much I appreciate and respect what they've done. You'd really have to go to the places to understand, and see what they were like. But anyway, this has just been a really great week :).
Ok, tomorrow is a solo show in Pittsburgh! I haven't done a headlining show since the first show in Del Mar, but yeah I'm on tour with Demi now so that's the reason why haha. But it should be fun! The scary thing is since we've been on tour, we haven't had a whole lot of rehearsal time - Even though we did get to go through the longer set with the newer band members in Del Mar. But I'm excited! Pittsburgh is a great city. I remember when Jason Castro and I hung out during our day off there. I made a video blog that night about it too haha. Hold on let me see if I can find it...

I haven't seen it since the day I uploaded it, and I don't plan on watching it now either lol. But wow that was just about a year ago! Crazy how much can happen in a year. But anyway there it is if you wanted to see what I did on my last day off hanging out in PIttsburgh. So it should be fun! Let me know if you're coming to the show or any of the other solo shows! But hey I think I have to go to soundcheck now... So I'll talk to you guys later!
